Navimag
The route through the Southern Chilean Fjords was a beautiful one and the pace of the boat was very relaxing.
The Navimag was more a cargo ship with passengers than a cruise ship. I appreciate the meaning of cattle class now. We thought our cabins were cramped until we watched the cows and sheep being herded on.
We're quite happy to have got to land now as the boat was over crowded and the butlinsesque style of entertainment a little grating. ( I wouldn't have missed for anything the Chilean keyboardist's rendition of another brick in the wall. They seem to love that song out here).
Next time ruta40!

Snow boarding sounds great..
We would like to do some winter sports but its a bit out of season here. There are several winter sports resorts in Argentina but the earliest part of the season is June.
We could ski near La Paz but its at an altitude of over 4000m. I think I´m going to give it a miss.
Have a great time! Lizzie

We`d love to do some winter sports, its kinda weird, the seasons are reversed except in peru bolivia (tropical but not that warm due to being 2000m high) where summer is winter but its actually summer well not summer but dry and warm except in the lowlands. Confused?
Seattle is july 10th ish for 10 days, then Kyoto for 4 days.
No mp3 player, just a cd player and 10 cds- much happier with 20quid of equipment, I can afford to have that stomped by an elephant.
