Those are PELICANS you twit! I get to call you that after your remark denigrating Americans for being willing to spend a little cash on their trips.... Have you condsidered that perhaps they think they are helping those poor locals out? Just a thought....

Ah, I`m sure they think they`re helping the locals, they`re really encouraging every english speaking man (feminism seems yet to hit S. America) to turn into an agressive, lie-wielding tout that`ll quite calmly say its $240 for a 4 day trek and pocket the difference. And then give you a ticket for a non-existant company not remotely connected to the good one they said they were from (with ID) that may even take you on said tour before disappearing themselves. I`d much rather give to charity.
